Essential Network Ports you must know, this article is for Network Engineers and administrators. In our day to day life of programming, we interfere with carious ports to make the communication. For example, to do SSH we have to know it’s using post 22 and for FTP 21, etc. This article is a simple review of that ports.

DHCP : Port 67 (UDP) DNS : Port 53 (UDP or TCP) Echo : Port 7
FTP : Port 21 (Data channel for Active FTP: 20) Gopher : Port 70 HTTP : Port 80
